Indonesian indie heroes The SIGIT (aka The Super Insurgent Group of Intemperance Talent–yes, it’s quite a mouthful) sweep home the big bacon with their snarling dose of Anglo-garage rock, which tastefully merges suave licks of 70s psychedelic rock with the unapologetic intensity of punk.

With the release of their album Hertz Dyslexia in 2009, the band have clamoured up the top of the Indo rock pile. They cap off a fine year after appearing at the prestigious US festival SXSW (South by Southwest) as well as tour stints in the States and Hong Kong.
